Introduction to Developers ’ Vision
The idea for Rutledge was conceived in February on 2005, by the developer H.L. Homes and his wife Kim. H.L. has been a resident of Brunswick County all of his life, and comes from a long line of native Brunswick County family members. Kim has been a resident of Brunswick County since 1972. They were married in 1979 and have lived in Brinswick County throughout their marriage.
The philosophy of the developer of Rutledge is summed up in three words : Commitment to Excellence. Great care has been taken in the planning, design and construction phases to ensure aesthetic harmony within Rutledge. Rutledge establishes a unique variety of architectural designs within the Community resulting in a harmonious blend of home styles reflective of the historic charm of Brunswick County; homes with design styles that will be appreciated by many generations to come.
The developers’ vision of rutledge has been to maintain natural areas, and building architectural elements that blend with the forested areas as well as the homes. Homes that feature old-fashioned front porches, sidewalks and elegant street lights that invite rejuvenating after-dinner strolls. Rutledge‘s own club house, aptly named Rutledge Hall, will host the community’s fitness center. No detail is overlooked in evoking the warmth of the true southern hospitality found in Rutledge.
